MEIKO SEYMOUR

LEAD PIONEER

Meiko Seymour is a native Floridian who has called St. Petersburg home since 2015. With over 20 years of ministry experience, he has served in churches of all sizes across Georgia and Florida, taking on roles ranging from worship leader to executive pastor. Rooted in a contemplative charismatic approach, Meiko passionately practices the Way of Jesus, focusing on creating spaces where people can encounter God and experience community.

As a leader deeply connected to the city, Meiko is an alum of the Leadership St. Pete Class of 2019 and has served on numerous boards and committees. He currently sits as a commissioner for the St. Petersburg Housing Authority and as a director on the board of the nonprofit Rise. He was also honored to write the 2021 Juneteenth Proclamation for the City of St. Petersburg and served on the Charter Review Commission.

Certified in facilitation and nonprofit board development, Meiko advises ministries and small businesses across the country, offering expertise in leadership, systems, and community engagement. Alongside these roles, he is pursuing a master’s degree to deepen his knowledge and impact.

In his downtime, Meiko enjoys poetry, a good TV show, waffles with orange juice, and has a weakness for Oreos. His journey with Jesus began in high school, and he’s been faithfully pursuing His call ever since.
