Summer
Of Rest
A collective exhale. A month to breathe, be, and be with God.
We’re pausing our regular rhythms. No formal Sunday gatherings. No big events.
Just space—to listen, to walk slow, to let God tend to the soil of our lives.

Our hope for July is simple: rest. Just as the land is left fallow to restore its strength, we’re embracing a season without striving so our souls and community can breathe deep and grow quiet. Fallow ground may look still, but beneath the surface, renewal is at work. We believe this sacred pause prepares us for deeper fruitfulness in the seasons ahead. July is our collective invitation to slow down, listen well, and trust that God moves even in the silence.
WHYWE
REST?

TEND TO YOUR SOUL
When we slow down, we can finally pay attention to what’s really going on beneath the surface. July gives us space to take spiritual inventory, reset our rhythms, and rediscover the deep joy of walking with Jesus.
Use this time to complete the Spiritual Health Reflection, a gentle way to listen for God’s invitations in your life right now. Dream forward by building your own Rule of Life, anchoring your daily and weekly rhythms in the Way of Jesus. And if you want to gather with friends or community, the Summer Slowdown Guide gives you a simple weekly structure for prayer, conversation, and rest.

COMMUNION
At Home
“Communion isn’t magic, but it’s not just a symbol either. Jesus said in John 6, “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” He was speaking spiritually, of course—but communion is a spiritual access point, a way to receive His life by faith. That’s true whether you’re in a cathedral or a living room. House church communion is just as potent and sacred” - Dwellings
